Anyone know of any companies that sell a tow hitch that I can put on my 2008 335 Convertable? I checked with BMW and they told me they dont sell one for the car.
Thanks in advance

Im not really looking to tow anything, I just want to add a bike rack so I can carry 2 bikes on the car. I know roof racks are out of the question so I thought either a tow hook or this was my only option.

Anyone have any experience with this?

That Wouldn't Be Bad At All. Sorry To Assume, But It Has Been Asked Before.....lol
P.S. - DON'T LET BMW SEE IT.

Best bet is to look at the BMW sites in Germany as they do have hitches there. I too have an E93 and would like a hitch. Da Lan would be a good one but so far I have seen little evidence of them working this application...

;) Yes, and it's spelled "American lawyers". I hv an '09 330d Xdrive with the tow package, but in Sweden. The package gives you strengthened rear suspension and the tow ball that pops out from under the back when you push a little button in the trunk. When you're finished with it you press the button again and give the tow ball a push and it swings back up. I've trailered my E30M3 behind it with no problems.

Hi All,
I switched my e90 to e93 late this summer. I'm an avid cyclist and nothing more fun is to take the convertible to those cycling locations. Anyways, Valley Hitch had manufactured a hitch for the E90/E92/E93 and I had it ordered.
When it arrived, my hitch shop tried for a good half day to mount it to my car's undercarriage. No Luck. Things were a good 1" off this way and 1/2" off that way. The E93 undercarriage is quite different with multiple angles that don't fit. Despite the printed instructions that came with the hitch clearly said E90/E92/E93, this did not fit. Valley was contacted, the hitch returned and I was told they went back to redesign and remanufacture.
Well... it's November, I got a call from my Hitch store today and it seems, they have successfully remanufactured it.
I'm going to wait until the spring to get it put on (Winter and cycling don't mix) but its a more traditional receiver set up (not a drop down) which better fits hitch mounted bike racks versus a drop down and trying to figure how to mount a North American hitch bike rack.
Their site http://www.valley.us.com/ApplicationLookup.aspx does NOT list this application or the E90/E92 application
The part number I was referenced was #81820 however, that part number may now be changed with their redesign.
Hope this helps. I'll give you an update when the snow disappears and I can use the hitch for a bike.
