Congrats, pretty loaded. You forgot to mention price?

The build sheet comes to $50,140.00, including destination charge. However, the price doesn't include (i) the aero package ($1695 +tax) which Philippe gave as a separate quote, and (ii) the illuminated door sills, which weren't quoted, but probably will run $500+.

Of course, all of this is still subject to negotiation when we finalize the paperwork in June.

Just noticed the date, why wait so long? Also another couple of month and you could get the new facelifted 2009 model.

ED = European Delivery, that's why the long lead time. My wife and I are spending 2 weeks in Europe driving it around. My itinerary is up on the Bimmerfest European Delivery thread.

Mryakan - I don't believe the 2009 update is applicable to the E92, only the E90, E91. And IMHO, I don't really like the update. I really love the current look of the E92 (with the oem aero kit of course). I think the stock front bumper has the look of a weak chin, not aggressive enough for my configuration. Just my opinion.

My bad, didn't notice you said coupe :embarrasm. So the delay is because of ED allotment or just your vacation plans?

Vacation plans. Wanted to take advantage of the 4th of July as a work holiday.

makes sense. Nice Independence Day present for yourself :). Enjoy and do post some pics and/or experiences from the whole ED thing.
