So I have a problem. I have decided to go with another 3 series and am looking at the 08 335xi and 335i. I live in the NW, its always raining. If I went with a awd it would make more sense but would I loose performance? I have no idea about BMW awd cars. I heard the xi does not come with sports suspension. What about quarter mile times? Please help.

I'm asking about the coupe.

Unless you are dealing with very severe weather and snow, the AWD will show no real benefit. DSC combined with DTC really does a fantastic job with a good set of tires. You really have to try to loose traction.

seems every week someone opens a new thread about this same topic. How about you search existing threads and then ask whatever was not answered there.
