Hi. I have this posted in the E34 section also, but it was suggested that I put it here as well. I am considering a few cars to replace my Honda, and I was hoping to get a few opinions. I need a daily driver for a 25-50 mile commute 5-6 days a week that is very reliable and gets good gas mileage (the Honda gets 27). The truck gets about 12.5, so I can’t afford to drive it every day. Please forgive the non-BMW’s. And the candidates are:
94 525i 148k miles-$3000obo
1995 BMW 525i 137k - $4000
86 325es 108k -$2750
1992 BMW 318i 170k - $3995 (how concerned should I be about high miles on this or other BMW’s?)
1995 Volvo 850 GLT Wagon 136k-$2970
98 SAAB 900 TURBO 2 DOOR 150k-$3995
90’s Volvos and Saabs in general (driver’s reviews I’ve read seem to be hit or miss on reliability)
