Check engine light came on earlier in the week when I was doing some stuff.

Here are the codes:

P1250 - Manufacturer Controlled fuel and air metering

P0455 - EVAP Emission Control System Leak (Large)

Anyone know what these mean other than the obvious? I erased the codes, turned the ignition off, then started the car, and they didn't come back...

Just wondering how important these are or what needs or should be replaced or fixed.

Check your fuel cap is on correctly for the EVAP leak

How could it not be on correctly? Maybe I just didn't turn it all the way?

European Night Shift

+1 Tefal. Both codes are thrown by either bad fuel cap seal or fuel cap not sealed.

I did it too once.

well it hasn't come back since i reset the codes... Anyone know anything about the Manufacturer Controlled Fuel and Air Metering? Could it have something to do with the K&N FIPK?
