Was gona but some lips similar to these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/polished-wheel-shells-rims-dishes-BBS-3x15-RS-RF_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247Q QcategoryZ43955QQihZ005QQitemZ150088015071QQrdZ1QQ sspagenameZWD1V (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-71/1?AID=5463217&PID=2518995&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Febaymotors%2Fpolis hed-wheel-shells-rims-dishes-BBS-3x15-RS-RF_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247Q QcategoryZ43955QQihZ005QQitemZ150088015071QQrdZ1QQ sspagenameZWD1V) and put them on, and powder coating the middle's light black.
How hard is it to take these wheels apart and put new lips on? What does the process invlolve?
Thanks so much,

If those are the exact wheels, you will need to take them apart (not hard), refinish the centres as well as centre caps any colour you want, and reassemble them. Paint stripping and painting/powdercoating costs about $100/wheel, and lips cost about $600-$1000 depending on size. You will also need new bolts because refinished wheels with old bolts looks like ass and you can't torque used bolts to old specs anyways. Bolts run for around $250/set but you can get them on vortex forums for cheaper, I would also get new BBS centres but that's me.
If you want to add JUST lips it will still cost you the cost of lips, and time disassembling and reassembling them, so for another $400-$500 get the centres redone and make it a $3K set of wheels. DO GOLD CENTRES WITH GOLD BOLTS for Big Baller Status.
Thanks for reply.
So if I were to only replace the lips and bolts, would I have to replace anything else?

You may have to apply some sealant around the lip when you put them back together. However, I'm no expert.

Maybe the valve stems. That's about it.

you have to but black rtv between the lip and center to make sure air doesnt escape when you mount tires on them :rolleyes
Doesn't sound too hard.
