I finally gave in after seeing enough pics of e39dream's interior trim and decided to buy my own. So after purchasing some technical graphite or whatever the correct term would be, I have no need for the trim that I've already played around with.
It's a full set of what was dark burlwood, but it's been painted black. It's a great set to test whatever you want on it. In the past, I sanded the entire trim down to just above the wood and then went through a pretty meticulous painting process. At this point, it just has the black paint covering the trim. It's the full set for an e39 with navigation, but I also have a piece of technical graphite for those of you who do not have navigation. So technically, I have all the pieces regardless of what kind of e39 people have.
PM me if people are still interested in trim
I don't know whether or not people have any interest, so Moderators, please don't move this.

Nope, the piece that goes in the very center where the radio is would be different. I received that piece without even thinking it was part of an entire set.
I'd like to get back around how much I spent for it, so right now $350/obo shipped to wherever you want would take it. Just PM me with an offer

I'm not going to post pics until I finish putting everything else on the car. I didn't buy the shifter to go along with it so instead I went with a new shifter, replaced the red alcantara leather boots back to black leather, and then added the new trim all around.
I can't remember who posted that the technical graphite was only on '98 and '99 e39's with the sport package, and even then they had to request the specific trim. I simply narrowed my search from dealers who try to get as much cash from you as possible, to salvage yards, people parting out their cars, and autoshops that specialize in bits and pieces. Southern California is notoriously known as the #1 auto market in the country and even then it was hard to find this trim. It took me a few months to find it all but I'm glad I located it.
The entire cost, including shipping, put me over $600. It could have been cheaper if I would have been able to find it all on one car, but since it came from multiple stores, I was charged more. I almost gave up and bought a deeper brown wood color again just to pacify myself.
I'll post some pics as soon as the shift knob gets here and installed.

If anyone still wants the old trim that I have, I'll part with it for $250 shipped or best offer. Now it's just going to start taking up space

this is the full set, front and rear, correct? is there any cracks in any of the pieces? and are all the mounting tabs intact?

It's the complete set.
All four pieces that belong on the doors, small one to the left of the steering wheel, one to the right of the steering wheel, the center console including the ashtray cover thing, and then the one above the glove compartment. The additional one that I have works for cars without navigation.
There were no cracks or breaks on the trim before or after I sanded it down. Although now I have scratched some of the black paint off, but literally less than four or five marks and only down to the primer so it's not anything that actually damaged the trim itself.
All of the mounting tabs are intact. None broke off.
