I just ordered a Euro plate. On the web site it said that it will come with the frame it mounts in. What else do I have to buy in order to mount it? Don't I have to buy a new front bumper strip?

I ordered it last nigt, and today in the morning I already recieved and email with the picture of the plate already done. And I was told it get shipped out today from Germany. I ordered it from www.bimmian.com

Here's the picture of the plate:

yeupp... the plate will probably come with a mounting clip... but you'll probably still want to buy the euro plate bumper strip just to make it look and FIT better.

You can pick one up from BavAuto for probably ~$15 bux.

I think it'll compliment your car nicely.

The g/f won't let me put one on since she thinks its cheesy  ... I'll just wait until she's not looking and I'll tag one on there :devillook

man, these guys are lightning fast. Not sure how long would it take to ship, but production wise....crazy.

I recall other places in the States, that make them, and their average wait is 4 weeks. Here it one day and it's done.

Germany...'nough said :D

Get a new front bumper molding from the dealership. Just make sure they understand that it is for a Euro plate. I got one for my car and it looks great.

i am going to do this as well... there is a company on ebay (prob the same) that does it starting at $19, with a couple of shipping options... this seems like a good deal... my gf (7+ years) suggested that I get a EURO plate with the same ID thats on my real plate... i like that idea, I think anything else can be a tad pretentious, unless you drive an 8-series, Z8, X5 4.6is, or 760Li... IMO

Yeah they are the rage. I am getting one.

My rear plate is going to say SO EURO so instead of mounting the front plate (req for customs) I will get a Euro plate that says SO EURO. That way at least girls will be able to recognize my car.

Plus my car only has the Euro strip now.

Like I said Filip...making it the same as your regular will make cops think twice...cause technically you satisfy part of whatever legal code it is.
