a guy named BILL WEISSMAN in the NJ-NY area? From what i have found out so far is,
Bill used to be a partner in a company called Motorsport Recycling in NJ. I heard that him and the other partner (also a guy named Bill) had a major falling out and the shop was closed. I'm pretty sure that the other Bill started another company called bimmerclinic or something similar.
Here is the deal.. this guy is a THEIF! I bought a so called good working tranny from him a few months back. I should have known better when i went to this shitty very nasty shop and that the tranny had a bunch of numbers recently ground off it. When i finally got around to installing it I put a few hundred easy miles on it to ensure proper break in for my new UUC clutch. Ofcourse the syncros seemed very loud but I assumed it had been sitting for a while and maybe it just needed to be driven. So what happend you ask... Third gear stopped working. So I tried to call BILL, the same guy who swore up and down it was a good tranny and that if anything was wrong to contact him.... I havent recieved a phone call from him, a text or an email as of yet. i have called him non-stop for a few weeks. His phone is always off and he changed his Vmail but hasnt returned my call. I am telling all of you this so hopefully he will see it and be a MAN and call me back so we can work something out. I do not understand how people do this and think it is ok? i also do not understand how someone would do this and not think that the buyer will track them down. Either way beware of this guy and I hope he gets in touch with me.
