Bummer but you get new glass. My windshield is rashed to the point it's almost a hazard when the sun hits it at a certain angle.
It's gonna cost you somewhere between $350-$700 depending on the replacement glass quality and who does the install. Then their gonna hit you up for anutha 50bucks for the windshield "cover" (moulding). I was lookin at $450sumthin (my deductible is $500) from Safelite (not sure if that is right) and I have rainsensor tech.

In our area, OEM glass is 350 installed. It will come with the rain sensor outline if you have it originally.

I have the rain sensor.
I just purchased an OEM windshield from the dealership for $225. The rubber lockstrip was another $45. Installation is $125 at a quality independent windshield place.

Yea mine needs to be replaced too. I am going to fight with insurance about going original though. I'm also going to wait till summer so that it doesn't leak. :dunno

My insurance (Progressive, with comprehensive) explicitly states that if you get a chipped/cracked windshield replaced right away they'll pay for it. Maybe check on that first. Good luck.

I say about $400.00 for your windshield. I bet is going thru your insurance is cheaper.

I don't have glass insurance and i also have a crack that I've been living with. I was debating weather or not I should go with OEM or AM glass if there are any real differences.

My insurance covered mine too. I did see the receipt for it when it was done and it came out to $330 total. Took the guy maybe an hour to do it.
