Die Grinder???

I'm going to buy a set of 7 series rims for my E39. I know the hub size needs to be increased a few mm. Can I just bore this out with a die grinder? I know it might be a little ghetto but I just want to know if it's possible?

Just take it to a machine shop, don't mess around with this IMO.
Also make sure the offset of the wheels you're getting will work on E39 in that given wheel width
