I currently have the SS RK Magnum. I really love the look and feel, but I want to go with something a little lighter.
I am thinking that I'd get the RK2, RK5, or RK6. I'd like to stick to stainless, but I do want to reduce the weight of the knob.
What do you think?

Right now I'm leaning towards the RK6 but I don't know how much it weighs.

I've got the RK6 and I love it!
It's pretty heavy, but I have no idea how much it weighs. Sure feels nice though.

Just got some info from UUC. The woman was VERY helpful on the phone.
These are all SS weights:
RK2: 1.2 lbs
RK4: 1.2 lbs
RK5: 1.6 lbs
RK Magnum: 1.6 lbs
RK6: 1.2 lbs
I'm not huge on the 4 and the 5 wouldn't be any weight lost.
I am now deciding btw the 2 and 6.

I have the AC Schnitzer Shift Knob
It looks similar to the RK6. I like the style alot, it is easy to grab onto and still feels substantial w/o weighing almost 2 lbs.
I vote RK6

i've had both the rk2 and the rk6, i've liked both, the rk6 has an adjustable height.

I used to have the 2. Really liked it other than the flesh-melting temps it would get to in the summer.

i have to say if you go with a uuc knob, get the rk6-l. I've got one on my car now, and I think it looks really good. I don't think it would look as good in a car without vaders but that's just me. However, I still think it is the one modification that I regret most. It's pretty expensive, and I continue to hear that heavy knobs cause excessive wear on the transmission. I'm to the point where I would almost consider changing to an rk2 aluminum or getting a stock or 330 zhp knob.

There's only one source for that misinformation, and the author is beyond foolish and into idiocy. Plain and simple, you could theoretically slam your shifter through the floor of your car with a sledgehammer and it would not affect the transmission. All the weight bearing of the shifter mechanism is taken by the shifter carrier, nothing at all to do with the actual transmission.
