kind of a dumb thread but, i've been looking for some affordable 16-17" wheels for my e36 and im stuck. i like mesh wheels, but most are ugly/look wrong (fat spokes or somthin) or only come in 18"+ and cost alot. and larger wheels are heavy or really expensive if there light.

stock m3 wheels = played out (to me) see it alot

black wheels with polished lip = see it to much, looks generic

i like my car to look unique, my last car i had some wheels you dont see everyday and i loved that (and how they looked) heres a pic to give you a sense of my style http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n263/7808/IMG_0475brakes.jpg

the only wheels i sorta like are kosei's because there light. and priced right. but the style is just blan (i know there not for looks there a track wheel)

im sick of every other kind of wheel i see on e36's pretty much unless there a spendy mesh wheel or expensive as hell bbs. i was even considering trying to find some plain black steel wheels in a 17 or 16x7 or 8 with a lip if that even exsists - anyone know where to get such wheels? so my style is wierd like that anyone got any suggestions?

also does anyone have a wheel wieght chart of bmw oem wheels and popular after market replacments?

or you could start looking at some old school oz's and such and if that still doesn't suffice go check out corvette wheels, they fit as long as offset is right

hope this helps

hey wait, i thought 5 series wheels dont work on 3 series because of the offset , those e39 wheels look perfect

those colored mesh wheels are kinda cool but the colors are too homo. smurf blue ? tampax red?
