my exhaust manifold rattles like crazy!

sorry dont know what the exact part is, but BMW said it was the manifold rattling.

You mean the heat shield? If it's loose just tighten it back up. It's there for a reason.

It might be a little louder if you remove the exhaust manifold! As has been mentioned, there is a heat shield around the manifold which can loosen over time, re tightening that should take care of your rattle.

ya the heat shield...i didnt know i can tighten it....
bmw said it has to be replaced....alot of $ something ridiculous like $300+ or something like that....
