View Full Version : E90 fit a E36?
As questioned, will newer E90 wheels (5 spoke from a 328ci) fit on an E36? I'm concerned about the offset primarily as I'm pretty sure the hub and bolt spacing will be compatible.
Thanks.

The offsets on the newer cars are lower. There could be enough room if you stay with narrower tires. If I can help let me know.
Do you think 225-45-R17 RFT's would be narrow enough? I have 225 snow's now on my 16" Mille's. Thanks.

The wheels from the 330i we had bolted straight on James' E36 vert here. Car did have rolled fenders. Car was silver and the finished of the 330 wheel looked sick on the E36.
Do you think I'll need rolled fenders to accomodate? By the way, can you explain what rolled fenders actually are? I'm assuming they're "rolled" to "stretch" them outward a little allowing more room in the well? Thanks.

The offsets are off by about 10mm so you may need to run more negative camber and or roll the fender lips. When you roll the fender lip it means to push the metal that sticks into the wheel well up and away fron the tire.
