Car is running hot and the auxiliary fan is not coming on. Check fuses. Any other ideas.

Thanks

What are the vehicle's "status" to make you think the aux. fan should be spinning?

A/C on or off and did the engine coolent temp. gauge start to creep to the red zone?

The temp started to creep into the red zone with the a/c off doing about 65mph. I cranked the heater on and the temp dropped back to normal. When I got home I let the car idle in the drive way and watched the temp creep back up to the red and the fan did not come on.

Thanks for any input.

If the fuses are ok, then you may have a faulty low and high speed aux. fan relays which are located in the power distribution box aka fuse box.

I dont know which relays they are exactly. The Bently Manual may show that but becareful since different model years have the relays in different locations.

Other than that, I would do a cooling pressure system test on the radiator cap and on the cooling system. Check for any coolent leaks. Conditon of engine clutch fan. Of course recheck level of coolent.

Did you also by any chance did any work to the vehicle?
