After reading a couple of posts in the forums, I am trying to figure out why a 3.2l can benefit the Euro HFM, but not a Supercharged M3 (or 325i for that matter) unless the boost is over 10psi. For example the AA SC kit doesn't include EuroHFM and they're making over 300hp, while an M3 with chip intake injector and Euro HFM make around 285hp.

It doesnt make any sense to me...

FI can overcome the intake restriction of the stock meter.

NA motors benefit from the Euro meters larger opening which allows the car to ingest air easier since it needs to "suck" to take in air.

How does the stock HFM read more air from the FI rather than a Euro HFM does on an NA? Doesnt the stock HFM max out on FI?

So therefore isnt it best to have the Euro HFM so that it "reads and tells the dme" that more air is coming in? Now were making the motor suck in more air while at the same time forcing it down its throat...
