I just bought some M-System II's and no longer need my OEM wheels. The problem is, I have some really awesome all season's on them that have like 4k miles on them.
Tires are Michellin Pilot Exalto A/S, on 15" Basketweaves. The wheels are in good shape, though I wouldn't say excellent. What do you guys think I could get for the set if I decided to sell??
I love the tires, and will probably go with them on the new wheels as well, but since they are different sizes I cannot just swap them.

Why Not Keep Them For When You Sell The Car? I Always Keep My Stock Wheels.

Not a bad idea. Pretty much they are worth about 2/3 of what the tires are new IMHO. That sucks, but 15" wheels aren't something people are generally looking for in sets of 4 unless they are selling a car and need to swap wheels out...

How did you like the Exaltos? How were they in rain or ice or snow?
I am going to put new 15" tires on my car (daily commuter) in about two days. I am considering Exaltos or the new Michelin Primacy mx?? Not sure of exact name. Appreciate your thoughts.
Sold my excellent style 32 wheels-never put them on the car. Long story :)

word. keep em, you never know when you might be planning a cross country trip and you don't wanna mess up your Msystems. so you'd defiantly be slapping on those basketweaves.

I went with them because they seem to be the best all around tire you can buy. I had a set on my previous e34 for about 20k miles and loved them. I have had them on this car for about 4k miles and still love them. Granted I don't deal with a lot of snow and ice, but the occasions I have had to, they are pretty good for not being actual snow tires. They are awesome in rain, which oddly enough we get a lot of here :)

Sold mine for $150 with bald michellins on craigslist. IMO they're worth more to keep around but i needed the cash.

It really is more about the rubber than the wheels :)

15" Basket Weaves FTW... Until I raise the fund to get 17" Style 65s that is... so should be a solid 4 months from now, lol.
