I would be interested to know this as well. I have searched thru the DIY section but to no avail. I have seen a lot of guys with suede A,B,C pillars and headliners but, I haven't seen any write ups on how to remove the headliner.

Its pretty easy, just unscrew all that crap. Take off the pillars too.

I changed my headliner without looking at any DIY...and I'm a total beginner. Here are some tips though...
Just unscrew everything you can see. Whatever has no screws, use a flathead screwdriver to pry it open. Don't pull anything off to hard because everything has wires. Some you can remove the wires (you can unclip the visor wires), others you cant.
Use the tool in the trunk to unscrew the B-pillar seatbelt bolts. You need to remove the B pillars to take off the headliner. When you screw them back make sure they are tight but not tight enough to crack the little plastic belt holder.
Be careful with the clips on the A/C pillars when removing and especially when putting them back. If they break, it sucks because they won't fit as tightly as before.
And lastly, if you are going to swap the headliner fabrics, I would go get the fabric professionally glued and fitted to the headliner. I fit it myself and it came out great, but the glue is the problem. I bought headliner-specific glue and generously applied it, but it recently began to sag. It sucks!
Hope that helps!

I just finished this, and have pics of finished product in my thread...
you can bend the headliner a little bit, and it wont hurt it...
make sure after you remove everything from the headliner (handles, lights, A/B/C pillars, visors, visor holders *visor & visor holders have wires comn from them, be careful*) you need to remove the trim around the sunroof (if u have one) before the headliner will come down. It also is held up with all the trim pieces are the doors, and windows....
