Is this a sleeper perhaps. What lurks beneath that subtle exterior?

*shakes fist*

I want a ride damnit!

What color are you going to paint it? Keeping the color stock? Take it from someone that's gone that route, a freshly painted engine bay is the greatest thing in the universe. Get ready for some disappointment though, because once you put everything back into the engine bay most of that awesome new paint will be hidden. And yeah, I know your motor's all shine happy, but I pained everything in mine too.

Looks like I'll have to throw a turbo on to make me happy. :(

Oh well.

i powdercoated the whole upper radiator support satin black, and am painting the engine bay satin black to match. Much of what was in my engine bay is now gone. the wiring will be hidden as best as possible, no power steering reservoir visible, etc.

Here is the bay washed out

This weekend I am going to scrub it with laquer thinner and all and then paint it up.

What the dent in your passenger side wheel well for?

I'm guessing that was for clearancing the turbo. I'm surprised Jon didn't cut and weld a relief in there.

What gives man? Cut and weld a box in there now while you can.

You can't - it will hit the tire at lock. That dent is from the old smaller turbo. Its not as obvious in person as that pic makes it out to be. I am using a dolly and hammer this weekend to make it perfectly "round".

P.S. Seriously, use Purple Power. It cuts grease better, won't harm rubber or plastic, and washes off better.

Already did. It looks dirty in the pic, but it's not.
