Searched here didn't find anything, but would the Blades themselves if broken off or missing some which were cracked be enough to overheat the car? M60 3.0L??

if missing broken off etc, they would probably induce enough vibrtion to kill the water pump... which then would cause over heating...

Anyway that is my logical analysis.

you should probably take the water pump, the fan clutch and the fan remnants and throw all 3 away as damaged goods.

Oh nad replace the fan too. Would you drive aroundon a flat tire, ortake all your tires to be UNbalanced instead of balanced?

how abpout puttign in a piston that was 100g heavier than the other 5?

Im not saying im putting one on that is broken. Im replacing mine because the car started to get hot, i turned it off opened the hood and noticed the most of the blades were even cracked in half or gone.

if your fan blades are in that condition, even money says that your fan clutch is toast too...
