part number 6 here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=HD23&mospid=47408&btnr=72_0085&hg=72&fg=05 is causing the belt not to fasten. It keeps slipping up and prevented the belt to clik in. Is mine missing a part to keep it lock into place so rear passengers can have an easier time of fasening their seat belts?

I have the same problem! If the passenger can't get it themselves after I explain it, I usually have to hop out and push the plastic part(6) down for them so they can buckle it.

it sounds like the plastic trim (#6) is not installed properly. try removing it and making sure the clips at the bottom are intact, which will hold it where it is supposed to be.

worst case, just remove it and the belts should work better until you find a solution.

clips....what clips? Is it part of the cover?

No clips for it, but make sure the seatbelt...thing (unnumbered part - it's the box that the belt latches into) is properly positioned. Judging by mine, they're a bit flimsy, and tend to get dislocated and cracked with use.

OH MY GOD this happens with mine, as son as anyone gets in the back seat I have to explain the method to get them in. Apply a lot of uniform pressure down, and then one almighty thrust and 'click' you should be all good...

I'd LOVE a fix for this though.
