So I'm changing someone's tranny mounts and glance over at jack #5 only to see an E34M5 smiling at me. :D It didn't look in the best of shape, caked in dust, hood removed, (receiving engine work etc.). My boss said "now that's a really Euro M5." I said, "Oh, 3.8? '93?" He said, "94." So there it was in front of me, the car I'd heard so much about in the European market. It was in what looked like a Negaro Silver Metallic on staggered 18" Schnitzer II wheels, Getrag-D 6 speed manual, Nurburgring package, better clutch system of some sort, and of course, the S38B38 engine. The reason I'm starting this thread is because....I want one! ;) I can't find much serious talk of it on these forums yet. I have NO idea how much they go for. (Well I assume it's more than $20K). I would have SOOO much fun making this M5 the Ultimate ///M Machine. I really just want the 6-speed mated 3.8. Is it worth saving up for over say....a "regular" 3.8? (Keep in mind I will be upgrading the SHIT :evil2 out of my next E34M5).

Holy shit, that's my next car! Thanks for the link. How did you find that thread? I searched for 94/95 M5's and got nothing really.

You could start by asking someone who has owned one, and then probably do a search for posts made by that person about what it was like as a daily driver (hint, look at the list of cars in my profile).
