Using oem latch, no hood pins. Hit 153 no shaking or problems.

No complaints really, I have seen 1 VIS hood that completely lost its clear coat but mines holding up pretty well.

i personally wouldnt drive a car fast without hood pins if it has a cf hood. My buddy had his VIS hood fly off on the highway when he was going around 110mph (car was a toyota supra). The reason why it flew off wasn't really the speed, but because it was extremely windy out. It doesnt matter what brand of CF hood it is since they all weigh relatively the same and they all mount to the same places. My CF hood once shook incredibly bad and i thought it was going to fly off when i was going over a very very high and huge bridge at roughly 80mph on a big highway when it was extremely windy. If I didnt have the hood pins, who knows, maybe the hood would've flown off.
I wouldnt really be worried about my own safety as much as others on the road since chances are the hood would just completely rip off (instead of just chilling in front of the windshield straight up), and could potentially hit another car behind/next to you. Huge CF frisbee vs. someones face = bad news.
And yes, I did run my hood w/out pins for the first 2 months, then my buddys CF hood flew off and i installed the pins.

How many latches does the Supra hood have? Cause the bmw hood has 2.

those are pretty trick!
i have been thinking about getting some for my SEIBON hood, but its been holding up good for a while now, no shaking or anything. I think the BMW's do benifit from the dual OEM latches on each side of the hood vs. one latch in the center.

Alphaxxn had a VIS carbon hood on his M3, almost flew off a few times on the way to buy pins. Really scary as a passenger to look at a hood and see it flapping up and down.
