My sister and I were clay baring my mom's car this weekend. We washed it about once and a half after clay barring. I wanted to give it one more good scrub down, but my sister thought it looked fine, so we dried and waxed. While removing the wax I noticed that we didn't get all the residue off in one area of the hood. It doesn't look too hot like that, so I hate to leave it. Since it's under the wax, I know I need to strip it off to get that crap off. Would dawn work okay, or do I need to do more?

What your gonna wanna do is use the clay bar with the lubricant to get the clay residue off the car, the clay will remove the wax when you use it.....just take your time, go slow and do a good job, and wipe the lubricant up before it dries. tehn reaaply the wax

I don't want to re clay bar, though. I just did that yesterday. There has to be an easier answer.

Wait, you left some clay residue behind?

A good polish should be able to remove the little bit of residue. Just go over the areas with the polish, then rewax the area. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes if its just a small spot. :dunno
