Is this tire ruined?

Was accidentaly driven on with a nail in it for about 1-2 miles :(

Yes. In my opinion that tire is ruined. I wouldn't feel safe driving on it with that kind of damage done to the sidewall. It's been far too compromised to trust.

Heck...you can start too see the nylon cords even from a photograph.

Yes, thats called run flat. The side wall will heat up if you drive for too long and just blow out. Get it replaced, no if, ands, or buts.
