Hello

I have a M3/4..no heated seats.
I am in the middle of changing my occupancy sensor and was following Pelican Parts instructions. When I got the seat cushion off of the seat base...I noticed the my sensor was b/w the leather and the foam cushion. Pelican Parts sensor is pictured in the base of the seat.

My question is, instead of tearing thru the hog rings of the leather, can I just install the sensor at the base of the seat like Pelican Parts describes?

Heres how mines looks:

Mine was attached to the seat pan, not between the cushion and the leather. But, I have the vadars. Since you have a M3/4, it might be different with the standard seats. My guess, would be that it would fine on the pan.

after realizing that removing the hog rims was no easy task, I did install the sensor on the pan...drove around the neighborhood and no air bag light...:)
