Emergency Help: Locked out of E39 Trunk!

I have a (very good) mobile audio installation service over at my home installing the DICE ipod integration kit today. He unplugged the battery to begin his work, it started to rain, so he closed the trunk. Now we can't get back in. Using the key doesn't do anything? And, no, I don't have the folding down interior back seat option.

Help???

(BTW, VERY very nice kit by them, but I don't see how anyone does this on their own without professional help ...)

put the key into the trunk key hole, turn left, turn harder and be happy :)

See this why you shouldn't panic ... Yes, figured it out after finding a thread here. In our haste I was turning the key in the wrong direction. Thank you! If I could delete this thread I would, but maybe some other panicing sap will find it in the search feature ... ;)

PROBLEM SOLVED.

I'll provide feedback on the DICE kit later, btw. I had it installed in the X5 earlier today and am now having the ashtray integration put in the E39 as well. Again, I don't see how 'normal' people could possibly do this on their own. I took a look at the 25 pages of directions and picked up the phone to hire someone ... ;)

Nice, I did the same thing basically but left the doors unlocked. So i "jump started" using the positive hookup in the engine bay and neg. to a bolt and :D I laughing so hard, but so scared :eek:
