looking for a donut spare wheel

Just a thought, does anyone make a donut spare wheel for the e39. I would like the replace the heavy bbs wheel in my trunk for a donut.I know the weight saving is not going to be that great but I though I would give it a try.

Closest I got was the steelies that some folks have for snows.

Also one of the E46's got a donut spare. Maybe it can be bored out :dunno

Who would want a donut over a full spare? Don't you feel better knowing that if you get a flat that you can just swap out your spare and continue on at any speed safely? Not crawl around with a donut looking for a tire shop.

There's definately a package out there somewhere, it was created for the M5 due to the lack of a spare tire, I can't remember what it's called or who sell it, but if it helps it does exsist. You should contact E39dream I'm sure he knows.

I don't need to worry about driving on a donut. 90 of my driving is done within 25 miles of home. In case of a flat my insurance covers road side fix a flat and alsoi have free towing so worst come to worst I can tow the car back home. Now I am thinking with all this I may just get rid of the spare wheel for a while.
