They finally came in early last week and had them put on. Though I am not happy with the tires (Falkens), I do plan on upgrading them to some Yokohama's by Summer time.

Car looks good with those wheels! I remember selling a pair of those to a guy with a black cts-v. Just out of curiousity, why are you unhappy with the falkens? I just recently put some fk-452's on my coupe and for everyday driving I can't complain at all. I assume your asanti's are for daily driving and show as well since they arent exactly racing grade wheels. Anyway I've run pilot sport ps2's, bridgestone so-3's, eagle f1's, advan neova's as well as bridgeston re750's and for daily use I just can't justify the price of all the "top of the line" tires I just listed when compared to the bang for your buck falkens.
Also how wide are your wheels and what size tires are you running?

Rear Wheel
Asanti AF 135 20x10
Falken 452 275/30/20
Front Wheel
Asanti AF 135 20x8.5
Falken 452 245/35/20
The reason that I am not all that happy about the Falkens is only in reference to the look. With the Falkens, you can see the seperation between the rear lip and the tire. After evaluating both tires (Falkens and Yoko's) at a nearby tire shop I did notice that the inner lip is deeper in the Yoko's, which would make it look more flush. Not a big deal but was just an observation I had made.
You are correct, definitely not racing with my 525i, I would get smoked anyway :)
But figured I spent so much on wheels that I might as well make them look at their best.
Ride is smooth though, had them fill them up with nitrogen for a smoother ride.

nitrogen doesnt make a "smoother ride". WTF. It DOES keep the tire pressure consistent in all temps and also eliminates any moisture between the tire and wheel.

Perhaps I should have seperated the sentences:
The ride is smooth.
Had them fill'em up with nitrogen for a smooth ride in any weather condition.

That lip issue is because the wheels are wide and the tires are not wide enough. You have minor stretch. Put some 285 or 295 on the backs and maybe a 265 up front and you will have that.
IIRC the falken 452 has the lip protector... but it only really works if sized properly.

Question on something else:
Do you think I should lower it? Currently I am sitting pretty high but also feel like it would look better and more "bullish" a-la M5 if it was lowered just a bit.
Whatcha think?

It will look 1000% better if you lower it an inch!!!!!!
Nice wheels and clean looking car.

Clean Car.
Clean Rims.

I really dig the style, but big wheels do nothing but accenuate a wheel gap like yours.
