Problem with heat

I currently have a 1995 m3.

My problem is I am getting heat only from the vents near the windshield, but from all other vents I am getting cool, cold air. All the knobs, including the one on the center vent are at the hottest setting.

It's minus 15 celcius or 3 Fahrenheit here....it's damn cold and heat is an option I need!

Any ideas what it could be? I tried serching but did not find anything relevant.

Yes that one is at hot/red also.

Broken bowden cable? Probably preventing you from switching the vents.

I am able to witch the vents and when I do switch from the windshield vent to the other vents (feet/face), I only get cold air blowing ....so I don't think that's it, but I will check that as well.

I thought the same thing, but I had the problem before that. I ended up bleeding th cooling system twice to make sure

I only get heat on the left hand side, cant work this one out.
