Euro NCAP Review and Reality

The Euro NCAP review on e36 is scary. Even more scary for me since i survived a 80+ crash in my 03 A4. I am supposed to sign the final papers for a clean 97 4dr tomorrow but now I am thinking of bailing out. I rather be in a car that can hold up in highway speed crashes. I am so disappointed.

I had a friend who had an E36 325i. He was T-boned by a 3/4 ton 4x4 chevy truck going about 55mph. He was hurt, but was only in the hospital for a couple days. When I saw his car I couldn't believe anyone could have even survived that wreck. IMO crash tests are too generalized and while often helpful they can also mislead consumers into thinking a car isn't safe.
