Hello,

I've got the GC coilvoer conversion kit on my coupe already. Someone ran a red light in front of me before Xmas and I jumped a curb avoiding them (they fled the scene of course), so now I need to replace my shocks/struts while the car is being repaired.

I had Monroes on it (no flames, were on the car when I got it), and I want to go to something better. I also want to go a bit lower in ride height than I am now (13.75" front, 12.5" rear), so I figure shortened Konis are my best bet.

Where can I buy them besides GC?

The car is a DD, and I have a wife and infant son who have to ride in it also, so I can't go too harsh on the ride quality.

I'd be happy to entertain any other suspension options you guys can throw out. I'd prefer to spend $1K or less, preferrably $600 or less. Remember, I really only need dampers.

Thanks,

Mike

TC Kline baby!!

The main difference between GC and TCK is that TCK has their front struts custom built in Holland. In addition, they do not use inserts, but rather complete Koni struts.

GC actually makes their own strut housings and then inserts Koni inserts.

Both use shortened struts and shocks. Both use custom valved Konis.

I will go going with TCKline soon as I feel that their product is 'cleaner' although performance is probably identical between the two offereings.
