Hey Guys!

I met a number of you at bimmerfest, and just wanted to clear up some things so that false info doesn't get spread around as this new and exciting product is launched.

The new Lava Lighting Angel Eyes kit (LLAE), is in no way related at all to the Daylight Demon Eyes (DDE) marketed predominantly by Umnitza and Jim Powell. Their kit is a completely different solution to the art of lighting aesthetics.

KO Performance (www.koperformance.com), has yet to update our lighting page on our website, due to the timing of Bimmerfest and the work we put in to release our product in time for the show. So, it reflects old information, which says that we retail the DDEs. We did, but no longer do so. The site will be changed tomorrow.

Here are some of the details...more will be on the site!

The kit is called the Lava Lighting Angel Eyes (LLAEs).
It is a crisp, clean, non-oem solution.
It has no light box, no LEDs, no fiber optics.
It adds no heat to your engine bay (no light box!)
It takes only 2Watts to power, vs 150W in the main competitors kit.
E36, E46 (all but bi-Xenon, bi-X soon be determined)
Ellipsoids required.

The kit is mainlined by KO Performance, (www.koperformance.com), koperformance.

We are accepting pre-orders which include free shipping now, and kits will begin to ship out in 3 weeks. Retail is $315.00 shipped pre-order. $315.00 plus shipping, once the kits are shipping.

Pics and MORE details will be on our site tomorrow!

It was great meeting all of you that I had the opportunity to meet at Bimmerfest. I flew out from Miami to take part, and I had a really great time. There were some AMAZING bmws at the event.

If you have any questions, or are ready to pre-order, please call, or email, myself or Nick Tramontin (COO of KO Performance (www.koperformance.com)). Nick is in the Bay, and his number is above, I am in Miami, and my number is below!

The price is only about $15.00 over LL's top competitor's current generation kit price. In fact when that kit first came out over a year ago it was retailing for $350.00, and it utlized LEDs that were about 5 cents a piece. Much research and design has gone into the beauty of this application, and it has allowed for an elegant solution. These will fit perfectly, and the price is not high for something that will last so long and add so much to the cars aesthetics. Compared to a Hamann body part accessory (mostly urethanes, etc.) these are cheap and just as big an aesthetic addition.

Ughh I believe competition or lack there of in the case you mentioned allowed them to charge 350.00 because it was THE ONLY THING avaliable! I can already see the DDE's coming down in price and people still getting those simply on a price basis, maybe you should have intorduced them at a lower price initially :dunno

Just my .02

I agree.. a group buy would be nice.... I'm gonna go talk to them when I get home.... Hopefully, we can work something out... I would really love to see them in person before spending 300 big ones....

Yep, as nice as they look on the screen, I want some unbiased opinions. A nice substitute for that would be some ultra-good pricing :)

I'm hoping LavaLighting and KO Performance are listening to this ;)

aceves sounds biased already.

There is a huge thread about these angel eyes in General Discussion. The conclusion has come to be that the LLAE's are brighter than DDE's as of right now.

Guys, i saw these @ bimmerfest and talked to john about them. You can see them at daytime and thats the great thing about them. They remind me of the 5 series bimmers. the price is well worth it. i mean i understand, if you havent seen them before you dont want to drop the cash, but take me word about this. no light box, easy install. these are the new wave of angel eyes.
Thats my .02

Why would I be biased ? This a "mod", if you can call it that, that I personaly have no plan on wasting my money on LL's or JP's version.

Biased right.
