Found a set of Borbet Type Es 16x7.5 in a ET40 offset with Dunlop SP Wintersport M2 205/55R16 tires on them. Anyone know if these would clear the brakes? I searched an did not find anything on these but did see quite a few people running a few 16s (Mille Miglia Spiders and Contour reps mostly). Any help is appreciated, thanks. Would run 17s but these are a really good deal.

if you have an m3 then it will not, if u have a non-m e36...then it will fit without a problem.

some 16" rims can clear the rotors. Just not many. You know for a fact the Borbet's won't fit?

I've got a 95 M3. Have seen some 16s fit just never a mention of these specifically.

Thank you Mark, that was exactly what I was looking for! Are they the same ET40 offset and do you have to run spacers at all?

nope. no spacers. i dont know what the hell company makes the wheels. i got them from a member on here. I think they are an ET35. The 16s are out there and personally you are better off running 16s than 17s in the snow. The tires are not only cheaper but the tire will cut through the snow easier.

Guess I'll just have to give them a try before I buy them to see if they clear. Thanks for the input.
