I changed out my RTABs this weekend with UUC RTABs. What a difference!!

Here is the deal. I spotted the lower brace that runs from the gearbox under the half shaft was all split out and coming open. This appears to be a rolled thin guage steel part that is welded into a tube and goes to the bottom of the rear spindle carrier. I can't feel comfortable driving the car much thinking this will go at any moment. What is the part number and any idea where to get my hands on this bit??? I appear to need the drivers side only.
It looks fairly easy to change, is this accurate??? Hints, suggestions?

Accordign to Real OEM this is the lower wishbone. Pelican going to be my best option to beat the $120 listed by Real OEM?
Please rate this swap on the one to ten scale based on the bloody knuckle factor.

it's like a 2 but you will need an alignment after.... it is only two bolts.

www.bimmerzone.com has them listed for $55
