Stock or Aftermarket

hey i have a red bmw, in my sig, and i was wondering if i should keep the stock rims or get some after market rims, preferably black and under $150 ea.

I am also thinking about resurfacing my wheels but i used the search for once and realized it was about $120-$160 for resurfacing.

I always thought the 16 sport rims looked good on the stock e36 cars.

well then ill probably just get the rims refurbished b/c they are in really bad condition. my cousin has a 740i and he did his, they serious looked newer than new.

now im thinking about staying with bmw rims but the style 42 rims but im not sure if they will fit my car, it says they have 5x120 bolt pattern which is correct but im not sure if the offset will fit because they might be +46mm when im pretty sure my 328 is a +41mm offset. Anyone know if they will fit?

I think the 42 are for the 5er which means that they will not fit due to the offset. you maybe able t find reps that will fit the 3.

well i found the style 42's in a +46mm offset but its listed under the 3-series section on finishlinewheels website
so im hoping those will fit

i would but then i would probably screw them up and my dad probably wouldnt let me mess wit my rims like that

I think it would good with some aftermarkets and a drop but if you keep the suspension stock you might as well keep the look of the car stock period.

ok well after browsing the forum a bit it seems that a lot of people like the stock rims on the sports package so i might just keep mine and refurb them
