I think some of you might have experience with this. The front off my hood, at the rim, has some scratches deep enough that expose the metal. They spots are already beginning to rust. What can I do to repair these, how, and using what products, to match it as best as I can to the rest of the body. Thanks. Oh ya, Alpine white e30. I just dont want rust forming primarily.

Since the scratch is down to the metal your best bet is to either repair them yourself using the correct paint and paint pen or you just might have to get the desired body panels resprayed or repainted. No products around will be able to correct these since there is no more paint to correct. If I were you I would get some fine sandpaper (1500-3000) and sand away at the rust to prevent it from forming. After that go over with some touch up paint and layer it till it is even with the surrounding paint. Note that this skill is VERY time consuming and a long process that takes weeks to perform correctly.

Just before you use the paint pen to build up the paint, you might want to prep the metal at the bottom of the scratch. This will prevent rust from getting a foothold down there and spreading underneath your new paint.
Go to an auto supply shop/store and talk to the guys there. There's a liquid rust preparation that converts rusted metal into a different form and stops/kills rust.
There are many variations of product name, locally I have Rust-Mort and it works great.
Apply it to the whole scratch with a Q-tip and let it work for the proper time period.
Any reddish rust will change into a dark gray/black kind of metal. Even if you can't see any rust, do it. If you have bare metal exposed, rust is starting to form. This stuff kills it at a molecular level.
Use your paint pen over that and rust will be kept at bay much longer.
Buy the smallest amount you can, for us amateurs, a small container will last forever.
Good luck,
-John C.

Thanks for evrything everyone. I took some pictures of the ugliness today, hopefully it will be clearer of what I am trying to explain. The damage is mostly above the passenger side front lights and the rim of the hood. Check it out.

i think youd be better off getting it resprayed

+1 that would be hard to even attempt to fix w/o a respray

would look better with a respray then trying to fix it anyways

definitely get it resprayed that is way too much work for a paintpen

Awww man, thanks for hurting my feelings. Ok, is there a way to minimize or stop these scratches again? I dont even know how they happened in the first place. And I dont want to get a car bra.
