3.5 HFM question

K, I'm in the process of saving for a set of cams from Turner. But just out of curiosity what would just the 3.5 HFM, injectors and software do to the car? What kind of results would show?

Also, if I think my injectors are going bad and I want to replace them before I get the kit that already has them, would my conforti software adjust to the larger injectors or would they not work and make the engine too rich?

Oh, and when I get the cams, in order to save myself the extra install time from the shop, would it be wise to just go ahead and install the injectors, intake and software myself, or would the software have to be done at the shop when the actually put the cams in.

To dial sw in, a shop would be best.
To get it to run, putting it together yourself would be fine.

I've never had anyone work on my car and it's run great for over 5 years.
