wtf does that mean? and im confused as to how it all works

There is no signal from the external air temperature sensor.

The sensor is located in the driver's side brake duct. It may be unplugged, the wire may be damaged, it may be missing entirely, or the unit itself may be damaged.

You should be able to see it from under the front of the car on the driver's side. As far as I know the base of the unit is black and yellow. Go have a look and see what's up!

Go have a look and see what's up!well shitty, its gone then, theres nuthin but a horn and half the harness for my foglights there lol.. my front bumper, and undercovers were all ripped off when the previous owner went through a fence with it

You may be able to locate the two wire ends, make up a plug and put it in a new sensor. I don't think the new sensor is all that expensive. I have mine taped to the brake duct, as the plastic mounting gave up....

I have mine taped to the brake duct, as the plastic mounting gave up....ya, right now i dont even have brake ducts nor the pork chops, when i invest in them il for sure find this thing and fix it. anyone have a pic of what i should be looking for?

Look for the yellow and brown wire hanging loose.
