Painted Trim

How many people have painted their trim. I'm debating how it'd look on an Avus car. Secondly, for those who have, did you do it yourself or did a body shop do it? Has any paint pealed off?

The only problem I can see with doing this is getting the paint to match perfectly will be tough depending on how much your paint has aged. If you paint it at all it would probably be best to stick with black IMO.

Any body shop can blend the paint and make it match if you looking at doing it , my front and rear molding is color matched and I have no problems with peeling at all. It is not a coincidence though. The plastice trim pieces require a substantial amount of prep before they can be painted properly.
