I've read things on rev-limiters, and all that on here.

I'm pretty sure i've had my car up to 7,000rpms a few times. (not entirely sure, I was going pretty fast, and wanted to focus on the civic trying to beat me. stupid hot chicks in hondas.....)

anyways, is there a place i can look? mine's a 1995 318ti.

Little black box on passenger side fire wall. Open that up.

Check this out: http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/techarticles/Mult_Chip_Install/Mult_Chip_Install.htm

Not to get picky, but the TMS chip sets the rev limiter at 6900:

You can also find out more info if you search the forum.

hey now. shh.

also, i guess i only went to 6,000rpm. for some reason i remembered my tach going to 8000. i think i might be dyslexic, or retarded.

also, being the ti, my frickin battery is in the way of the dme. so, i'm gonna leave it, til i get more bored than i am.
thanks tho. at least now i know where to looks. and the process looks easy.
