can anyone give a ballpark price and what it would take to squeeze the euro 321hp (about) out of the american version (either 3.0 or 3.2 if you think theres a difference)?

keeping it n/a is preferred if possible, and euro motor swaps hardly seem practical.

if anyone is going to suggest boost (turbo/super), is there a quality package that doesn't require thousands of hours and dollars in fine tuning?

thanks

to do every possible NA mod, you'll get upwards of 270whp, which would put you near where you want to be.

Boosting is expensive. Some of the cheaper s/c packages are like 3-4k I think. The turbo package I think is one of hte best bang for bucks is the technique tuning systems. For just under $7k you can get the Stage 1, which will net you 340-350whp on a bone stock american s52.

Just under 8k, will get you the stage 2, which will get you a ways over 400whp.

thats a bit of a bummer, i was hoping to hear you could swap heads or something. 300-320 hp would be perfect in this car.

boosting just seems like it will be incredibly expensive and time consuming over the next few years

well you will be over 320hp, I was quoting wheel horsepower. The stock euro 3.2L (321 chp) would be about 266whp if you factor in a 17% drivetrain loss.

you can probably make around 250whp anything more is a little optimistic, or a race motor that is not streetable.

you are better off with a mild supercharger, as they are not all that expensive, harmful on the engine, and you would make more then enough hp for track or street. and depending on which one you get you can easily upgrade it for more power.
