i know a guy selling a 4.27 lsd with 40% lock up and a 2.5str torque converter, he had it on a 93 325 and said highway rpm's and gas mileage were fine. how would this work out on an auto M3, compared to a 3.91 lsd?

a bit more pull, a bit less top end, and probably a bit less gas mileage on the highway.

how would the RPM's be? i dont want to be at like 4000 rpm while cruising at 80mph.

i'm not real sure. Probably amazingly high. PM volfinator. He has a 3.91. Ask him how his rpms are on the highway, then raise that number up a bit. :)

that would be wayyy to much, plus the lsd on it is broke so your probably going to have a hard time keeping traction. i wouldnt go anything higher then a 3.91 lsd. which i am swapping his week!

if most of your driving is city driving though, it might be beneficial. However if you spend any length of time on the interstate, it could be a problem.
