I don't believe that CarFax differentiates between I6 and V6... all the reports that i have for 1997+ m3's have been
listed as 3.2L V6 PFI DOHC 24V...

Doctored??? Give me a break, no way in hell! Why would someone doctor a carfax report when ANYONE can rerun one and see all the info. That would be totally moronic!
Everything on the page is ligit. If anyone wants to come and see the car and go for a ride for the ultimate truth, come on over. The car is in excellent condition.

I agree, that is pretty moronic... Who in their right mind wouldn't run a carfax for themselves prior to buying a car....ESPECIALLY on ebay!
Great looking car Mark, and a great price... You should have no problem selling it. Good luck!

Three days to go, eh? Good luck!
Just one quick question though about the eBay listing. What exactly does this whole paragraph mean for potential bidders:
"Priced to sell at $28,500 or best offer - MUST SELL. Feel free to contact me at: *************************. Dealer maintained. Mechanically perfect. The interior is in excellent condition, with no tears or stains. All components of vehicle in perfect working order. A few rock chips in front fascia, usual for a car of this age (I will provide touch-up paint). There is a small flaw (2” diameter) on front bumper (see pictures). I am offering $500 off the price of the car or $500 cash, to fix (this is more than enough to repair the damage)."
If you only get one bid and it's for the $22,000 starting bid price, will that bidder receive the $500 deduction for the repairing of the bumper flaw? Just curious as to how that works in an auction setting, and does this also count as a "Buy It Now!!!" eBay deal at the $28,500 price quoted above?

O.K., If I only get one bid and it's for 22,000, yes, the winning bid will receive a 500 deduction or 500 cash back. I screwed up the write up when I said 28,500. I had it listed for 28,500 in the beginning (before the auction). This really the minimum I would want, but if it sells for 22,000, then it sells for 22,000. If you have any more questions feel free to call me or email me at mark.james@charter.net or 817-431-9411 home.

Nice car Mark.
If the car doesn't sell, would you be interested in parting any of it out?
Specifically the Taillights and the Short Shift Kit.

I will highly doubt the car will not sell. I've had a ton of hits and million questions from people all over the US and Canada.
But, no I will not part out the car. I want to sell everything with the car. This is what sets it about from any other M. Thanks for asking.

Yeah, with that detailed of a description, the car will sell for sure. It satisfies every potential doubt in the mind of the prospective buyer.
I have noticed on eBay lately that most people wait until the very end of the auction to bid, not wanting to drive the price up throughout.
I would think that you would get $24 - $26 for the car. It looks great btw.

Thanks for the clarification, Mark. Wasn't sure if it was something wacky with eBay attaching someone else's info to your car in that one spot...
I'm sure that car will sell, and probably for more than the $22,000 starting bid. The only problem is that the market seems to be flooded with sellers and few buyers at the moment. But I wish you luck--it's a great car, with great mods, and at a very good price!
*kicks self for not having the funds for such a fabulous piece of machinery, but looks contentedly at the '94 325iC in the driveway*
