Im converting my obd1 cats to obd2 cats. what parts needed to plug up extra o2 sensor openings. Where did you hook up o2 sensor. I have a1995 M3 with single o2 sensor. Did you notice any difference in torque or horsepower? Tony

I had one on my 95.
my emmisions were non-existent after I did.
j/k
but I NEVER had a problem passing after I did the swap (250$)
my HC and NoX levels were a fraction of what they were (which was illegal :rofl)
Power was not noticeable. o2 sensor position never changed.

I have an obd2 midpipe...I didn't even know it was there until I looked down there today...most people did say my car felt a little faster than usual, and thats the only mod.
I'll be replacing it with a trackpipe soon, so I may have it for sale.

I felt a difference when i swapped to the obdII midpipe. Kreizy31, since you already have an obdII midpipe I wouldnt bother with the trackpipe as you wont notice anything at all in power. All you will get out of it is a better noise/tone to the exhaust and not be able to pass inspection. Also it isnt cheap by any means and the pros are not very convincing for me to buy it.

Hello, did you install yourself? What did you use to plug o2 bungs behind cats and where did you get them. Did you move you o2 sensor foward of cats and weld in a new o2 bung? Did hangers line up or did you have to use bracket from obd1 cats? Thank You Tony

I had a shop install it because I originally bought it from nc. I had the seller cut the pipe at one side of the cats to make it cheaper to ship. I needed shop to weld it up but at the same time I wasnt sure if I was going to keep the cats or not. The guy putting it in told me my options with the o2 sensor.... extend it or relocate it. He couldnt relocate it and the stock midpipe was already off so I said eff it and just relocate it. He relocated it in front of one of the cats and plugges the other o2 sensors with allen bolt, o2 plugs. The hangers went in smoothly except for the metal part that attaches to the trans I believe. He needed to get a longer bolt.
So to get this to work on obdI, you either need to extend the 02 sensor wire or relocate it. You also need to get a longer bolt where the midpipe is held into place on the trans. Thats it I believe.

It seems like it gained more torque. I will be getting it dynoed in the spring.
