my fucking bov does not make the sound that everyone wants. it is working and i tried to tighten it from that screw on the top but at a idle it still leaks a little air and when i shift or let off the throttle it slowly lets the air out. any good recommendations of a loud and good bov. i know there isn't much to them but i need one that wont open until about 22 in/hg because my idle is between 19-20 so i don't want any air coming out at idle and when i let off at wot it goes down to about 27 in/hg thanks everyone

My Tial 50mm is "loud" but not really loud. It lets people know I'm boosted for sure however. Just make sure to get a -9psi spring, I had a -11psi and experienced compressor surge and the BOV not opening on low-boost throttle release, as in when I was at light throttle, making like 1-2psi, it wouldn't open.

1st of all, what kind of bov do you have? Second what is your boost? Third what's the location of your bov?
The loudest bov that I've ever used is Turboxs RFL. But now I'm using HKS SSQ, wich is also loud. But they all depends on your boost, the higher the boost the louder it goes.
The bov doesnt' really leak on vacum unless your the piston inside the bov is leaking. That's why I switch to HKS co'z its using a different set up inside. But like what I said RFL if you want a real lound one.

Actually, TT or most NickG tuned setups are blow-thru.

If its old you may need to oil it. and adjust from soft to hard. the harder you go the harder it is to open. the softer the easier it opens. but you need to get it where it dosent leak at idle first. And make sure your boosting. no pressure no blow off.

WOW ! Post some pictures of your setup! I find it hard to believe your boosting your vehicle with the Stock MAF! How many PSI are you running?

The url of the pic from wherever you are hosting it. You have to host the pic somewhere, you can't just link it from your PC.

Bout to say the same thing.
That being said, my bov opens up even if I'm just revving the engine at neutral and let the gas go a bit.

if you want the fluttering sound (puts on flamesuit) dont run a bov.
If you want a nice loud dump sound, your going to be needing to run more than 8psi.
