Hi, I'm new to the forum but not BMW's. 14 months ago I bought an Avus Blue 95. Greatest of the bunch I've had the privilege of owning. How many E36 M3's in the Terre Haute, IN area?

Oh yeah, you have to have a certain number of posts before it lets you throw up pictures. :(

Go post them over at http://e36-tech.com and I'll post them on here for you.

Yes I do have plans. The engine already has cams, Euro MAF, large bore throttle body. Pretty quick but always room for improvement. Looks bone stock. However two weeks ago I got Euro Projectors w/ angel eyes and clear corners. Out of money now but hoping to get an exhaust, strut bars and I would really like a nice set of rims. All that said it's got 90K and is one of the nicest 95's I've seen. I looked for a very long time before I got one. I was seriously lucky to get the one I got.

They're not Blue Angel Eyes. They're the angel eyes from BavAuto.

haledj! What do you drive and why haven't I seen you? I don't hang out with the tuners in the Kroger parking lot. PLEASE tell me you don't too. I have nothing against tuners, it's just that most don't seem to be too friendly. I am not a fan of ricers but believe all car guys should be considerate of others interests.

I have a bright red e30, 318is. No, I do not hang out with the ricers. I mostly drive back and forth from school.

Welcome to the Avusblau M3 Owners Club, like the others said before me .... forget the angel eyes ... they don't add performance ...... they detract from aesthetics .... they don't add value .... spend the money one swayvars instead.

Good luck with the car.

Great, that is good news. I drive a 95 avus blue M3 only when it's nice. The rest of the time I drive a white wrecked Oldsmobile that I bought for $200. It's the only way I can afford the M3.

blasphemy!:mad

Welcoem to the board. Although I agree with dcroghan about estoril being better I still like avus. :)

Kyle M3

I too agree that Estoril is better than Avus. I was more concerned about mechanical performance when I purchased the car though. While I looked, I had three colors in mind. They were Dakar, Estoril and Avus. But when I found a NICE 95' for $9900 I wasn't going to complain about color.

P.S. As far as the angel eyes go I think to each his own. When you buy Euro projectors and it costs roughly $50 more to get the angel eyes, if thats what you want, go for it. They are not blue, not red but a factory color that I think compliments my car well. It would have been a waste of money had I already had projectors and spent another $300 - $500 to get them w/ angel eyes....
