Is the rear valence easily removable?

I want to remove the black piece under the bumper and paint it. Does it come off easily? How do I get if off it it does come off? TIA

Yeah, it comes off.. and I don't think it's that hard either.. I don't remember the exact procedure but I think it's held on by a few screws underneath / inside the rear bumper..

By my honest opinion is you should leave it alone and not paint it.. what color were you thinking of?

Sorry for the rant but this site is far worse than bimmer.org for crash recovery procedures. It's about the 3rd or 4th time my posts have been lost. Anyway, I posted detailed (and quite simple) procedures for rear valence removal. I'm too lazy and tired to type them in again. If you really want them, let me know and I'll send them - probably e-mail is more reliable. :-((
