So I have the UUC SSK with the bearings in it. I plan on getting the dssr, and what other bushings or parts should I replace at the same time?

which SSK did you get? the Evo III? If so you won't need the ERK, but if you got another one, buy the ERK and delrin carrier bushings and your SSK will be set.

I think it's the evoIII but I don't know how to tell the difference. What's the erk?

Make sure you have the UUC Delrin carrier bushing that replaces part #2. I'd also strongly recommend replacing the "Gearshift Rod Joint", part #12

When I installed my Evo III and DSSR I replaced the rod joint at the same time. The side-to-side play in my shifter is almost nil. It's a pain to change it but the part is cheap and if your car has a lot of miles on it it'll be worth it.

ERK is effort reduction kit. The evo III comes with it. Read my FAQ in my sig, and use like understeer.com for pictures to see what all is talked about.
